Bid(s) by the lions Club(s) shall be in writing, coordinated through the District Governor of District 308 - B2 and be received by the Chairperson of the M.D.308 Convention Committee PCC Lion Tommy Choo not later than 15th December 2009.
Such bid shall contain the following informations and undertakings :
- Name of the proposed C.O.C. Chairperson as defined in the M.D. Constitution.
- Convention HQ hotel which must be in operation and venues for the banquet, plenary sessions, fellowship dinner for the four districts, lunch and the various seminars or schools.
- Resolution(s) of the Lions Club(s) making the bid
- Support of local dignitaries and Government
- The registration fee and information on what the registration fee would include.
- Such other information as may be required by the Convention Committee from time to time.
- An undertaking by the hosting club(s) to host members of the Convention Committee at a date fixed by the Convention Committee for a site inspection.
- An undertaking by the hosting club(s) to comply with such other requirement as may be stipulated by the Convention Committee from time to time.
- The Bid should provide the indicated rates for hotel rooms of various categories.
- Accessibility to the convention venue by various modes of transportation.
- Preliminary budget if available.
- Such other information which may assist the Convention Committee to evaluate the bid.
