Lions Convention
CONVENTION CALL 22 February 2009
Pursuant to Article VI of the Constitution and By-Laws of Multiple District 308, we hereby issue this official Convention Call to call all Lions to attend the 47th Multiple District 308 Lions Convention and the 11th District 308 A1, 308 A2, 308 B1 and 308 B2 Lions Conventions respectively.
The Convention are scheduled to be held as follows:
Venue: Zon Regency by the Sea, Johor Bahru
Duration: 23rd to 26th of April 2009
We meet the needs of our local communities and the world.
Our 1.3 million men and women in 202 countries and geographic areas conduct vision and health screenings, build parks, support eye hospitals, award scholarships, assist youth, provide help in time of disaster and much more.

We are privileged to have our PCC Dr. Mario Yoong acting as our Council Committee Chairperson (CCC) for IT for fiscal year 2008-2009. With the assistance of our webmaster Lion Nicholas Seow, he will take up the challenge to make our Website current, interesting and informative besides using it as a tool to achieve “Miracles Through Service”.

Multiple
District 308 consists of 3 countries in Southeast Asia, namely
Brunei, Malaysia and Singapore which is divided into 4
sub-districts (District 308 A1, A2, B1 and B2)
As of June 30, 2008, Lions Clubs International had 1,305,638 members in 44,997 clubs and 751 districts in 202 countries & geographical areas.
Whereas, Multiple District 308 had 8,255 members in 315 clubs in the following districts: - 308 A1 had 1,767 members in 71 clubs
- 308 A2 had 1,791 members in 72 clubs
- 308 B1 had 2,722 members in 97 clubs
- 308 B2 had 1,975 members in 75 clubs
